"Invitational Exhibition"

Pictured at left is just a sampling of the fabulous paintings on display at the Artists Guild Gallery's "Invitational Exhibition."

Works of art created by artists in and around the Treasure Coast will be showcased in our Guest Artist Gallery and Small Gems Gallery for your viewing pleasure. Included in this exhibition are oils, watercolors, pastels, acrylics, graphite, mixed media, pottery and more.

A portion of the proceeds from this show will benefit "Our Father's Table" of Gifford. Food donations for this needy organzation is urgently needed and gratefully accepted.

Join us for an opening reception Friday, May 4th, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm., during the Arts District's monthly Gallery Stroll in Downtown Vero Beach, which has been extended by popular demand into June.

Extraordinary New works by our 18 Gallery Artist/Owners will also be on view, along with exciting new works by our Gallery Consignors.

June's Featured Artist ~ Ambrus Diossy

The Artists Guild Gallery's own Artist/Consigner Ambrus Diossy will be featured in our Guest Artist Gallery for June, with an opening reception June 1st, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, coinciding with the last Downtown Gallery Stroll.

Studying his craft for years in Florence and the U.S., his oil painting skills have caught the attention of fine art connoiseurs as someone to watch as his career soars to new levels.

Members of the Artists Guild Gallery had taken him "under their wings" a long time ago after seeing his work and realizing that his beautiful paintings demanded exposure and tribute. Come see what we've been talking about for years.


NEW GALLERY HOURS IN JUNE
Artists Guild Gallery hours of operation from June through September will be Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday, however, the Gallery is open by appointment after hours by calling either Marjorie Bohler at 772-770-6349 or Rita Bianco Sprague at 772-794-9033, or leave a message at the Gallery at 772-299-1234. The Gallery is also available for private viewing or special group viewings.

Little Gems

The Artists Guild Gallery has created a separate gallery room for small but impressive works by our gallery members. Dozens of works in most medims will now always be available for your viewing pleasure in our back gallery adjoining the Courtyard.

With many paintings to choose from, and moderately priced, our little "Gems" are perfect for decorating a small space, with subject matter suitable for any room.

THE ARTISTS GUILD GALLERY'S ART-FILLED COOKBOOK
"From Our Palette To Your Palate," a fabulous cookbook featuring samples of our art, and recipes from our kitchens, for your culinary pleasure. Makes a wonderful gift for those who love art and love to cook.

Our receptions have always provided a wonderful platform for us to show off our culinary skills, and now you too can create a "Culinary Masterpiece" yourself!

At only $12, "From Our Palette To Your Palate" includes 21 paintings from Member Artists, and includes over 400 recipes, many which have been enjoyed at our very popular receptions. And our artists will be happy to autograph their art pages for you. (Ps-s-s-t: great Mothers Day gift!)

GALLERY STROLLSFirst Fridays, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the 3D District (14th Avenue and beyond). Galleries and other businesses swing their doors open to greet the public, many offering refreshments, demonstrations and other special offers. Downtown is exploding with art-new galleries coming all the time! Come see what's new at your favorite galleries, visit a myriad of merchants, then dine at one of the 3D District's fabulous multi-ethnic restaurants.

Many local artists will be showcased in non-gallery spaces as well. Come browse, shop and dine, and enjoy the ambiance that is Downtown Vero Beach. Maps are available at any of the Downtown art galleries.

COMMISSIONS:
Many of our fine artists accept commissions for portraits, pets, structures, landscapes, personal objects and more--in your medium of choice.
Minor restoration and touch-up of artwork is available.
